65-year-old man demands sexual favours from woman after she fails to repay loan, gets murdered by her husband
A 65-year-old man was allegedly murdered after a woman was unable to repay a loan worth Rs 1.4 lakh.

Ghaziabad: A man was allegedly murdered in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh after he demanded sexual favours from a woman who was unable to repay a loan she had taken from him. The 65-year-old man was allegedly bludgeoned by the woman's husband.
The deceased was identified as Gyan Prakash. Prakash was a resident of Madhuban Bapudham. He went missing on January 4 and his body was recovered from a suitcase inside a drain in Vijay Nagar on Monday night. The accused were identified as Vinod Kumar and Preeti.
Accused woman used man's debit card
The man left his house on the pretext of going to a friend's house for a jagran. His family approached the cops when he did not return home even after a day. The last location of the man's phone showed that he was in Govindpuram. The cops also learned that Rs 50,000 was withdrawn from his debit card from two ATMs in Modinagar and Muradnagar.

A probe revealed that the woman borrowed Rs 40,000 from the 65-year-old man in 2018. Days before her marriage in 2019, the woman took another loan worth Rs 1 lakh from the man and was unable to return it. Following this, Prakash asked the woman to get into a physical relationship with him.

The relationship continued for a year but when Vinod learned about it, he decided to murder Prakash. On January 4, Preeti called the man to her residence at around 4 pm and spiked his drink. When the man lost consciousness, the accused allegedly smothered him to death. They stuffed the body inside a suitcase and dumped it inside a drain. The accused were booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
