Prince Harry has candidly discussed how difficult it can be dating a member of the royal family and sweetly revealed the moment he knew his wife, Meghan Markle, was 'The One'. Speaking during an honest new interview with his friend, James Corden (who wore a hilarious royal-themed outfit at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding), Harry also shared what he and Meghan would typically get up to during the early days of their courtship.

"Dating with me, or with any member of the royal family, I guess is kind of flipped upside down," the prince began, explaining that privacy is key and therefore dates are kept super intimate and casual. "All the dates become dinners or watching the TV or chatting at home, and then eventually once you become a couple, then you venture out to dinners, to the cinema and everything else."

Harry noted that unlike the typical 'timeline' that many new couples go through, theirs was rather more 'back to front'. "Everything was done back to front with us, so we got to spend an enormous amount of time just the two of us rather than going to friend’s houses," he shared. "Or out for dinner where there are other distractions. There were no distractions, and that was great. It was an amazing thing, we went from zero to sixty in like the first two months."

The Duke also divulged the moment that he knew Meghan would likely be a long-term feature in his life, saying that they naturally hit it off from the get-go. "The second date I was starting to think 'Wow, this is pretty special!'," he revealed to James. "Because we just… it wasn’t so much where we went it was just the fact the way that we hit it off with each other, and we were just so comfortable in each other’s company."

It's safe to say that Harry's gut instinct certainly proved to be right, as he and Meghan are currently looking forward to welcoming a new addition to their family, who will be a big brother or sister to their one-year-old son, Archie. They'll celebrate their third wedding anniversary this May too.

Since meeting, the couple have made history together by making the joint decision to step away from their former roles as senior working members of the royal family, in order to pursue a more private life in California. They've since signed deals with Netflix and Spotify, as part of their bid to become financially independent from the monarchy, and are set to give a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey (their friend and neighbour) next month, shedding more light on all of the above.

It's great to see Harry looking so happy during his chat for The Late, Late Show! We can't *wait* to see what the Oprah catch-up has in store too.
