Longtime friends and neighbors Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have reportedly been dating for the last couple of months and, so far, their relationship seems to be off to a strong start.
Over the weekend, the pair both shared poolside photos on Instagram from their trip to Palm Springs where Kourtney's mother Kris Jenner owns a $12 million home. A source revealed to People that this weekend away was more than just a little road trip amongst pals. “They're in Palm Springs together,” the insider confirmed. “They've been dating for about a month or two. They've been friends for a long time but it's turned romantic. Travis has liked her for a while.” A source speaking to Us Weekly added that “Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while,” while an E! News source revealed, “It's been very low-key. They are a really good match, and Kourtney's entire family already loves Travis.”
Yet another source who spoke to ET explained, “They live on the same block and things are super easy between them because they know each other so well and just click and get one another. Her kids and his kids get along so well too, which is a major plus for both of them.” The E! News source added that, “Kourtney has always been attracted to how Travis is as a parent. He's an amazing, hands-on dad, and Kourtney loves that about him. They love relaxing at home with their kids, and everyone gets along. It's going well, and they aren't putting pressure on it being super serious at this point.”
The Blink-182 drummer and his ex-wife, former Playboy bunny and Miss USA Shanna Moakler, share three children, 21-year-old step-daughter Atiana, 17-year-old son Landon, and 15-year-old daughter Alabama. They were married from 2004 to 2008, appearing on two seasons of the MTV reality show Meet the Barkers. Kourtney and her ex Scott Disick also co-parent their three children, Mason, 11, Penelope 8, and Reign, 6, after ending their nine-year relationship in July 2015.
This also isn't the first time tabloids have questioned the nature of the two stars' relationship. In 2019, Barker shut down dating rumors at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, telling People, “Kourtney's like a dear friend. That's it. I mean, I love her to death. I love her family to death. But yeah, just friends.”
