Literally, this grumpy looking cats name is “Giggles”. And despite his perceived irritation, he’s actually super sweet and loving.
Because given what little is known of his past, Giggles still purred during this entire mini photo shoot.
The gruff looking tabby was found roaming the streets in Akron, Ohio. Thankfully, he was brought to the caring folks at Riggi Rescue, a local non-profit organization. And he was NOT in good shape when he was discovered per their social media post.
Giggles was roaming the streets for sometime before being picked up by a good Samaritan and brought to us. He had many ticks, wasn’t neutered and had a bite wound on his neck from a cat fight. He’s just one of so many needing our help!
Help him they did. No matter what his facial expressions may be saying. 
Giggles can’t help it, because this is his normal face.
And it’s ADORABLE!
The rescue is foster home based and whoever gets to be greeted by this mug each morning is a lucky soul.
Giggles has been vaccinated, fiv/feLv neg, neutered, tick removal and flea treated. There is a possibility of a home, but nothing confirmed as of yet. He is the SWEETEST BOY! WE LOVE HIM! Here’s some Giggles smiles for ya
They have noted that they are very strict about their adoption processes. So this isn’t going to be a “walk in, pick out a cat, and off you go” situation. And with the attention that his standoffish face is getting, a forever home won’t be a problem for him.
Apparently he also gets along well with other cats and even dogs! Poor boy may have gone his whole life with no friends simply because he has “resting hiss face”.
But here’s something we can ALL smile about!
Giggles has a potential home already. And for any reason should that fall through, there are more than enough new fans of his that will step forward. We can’t wait to see how his happy tail ends!
