Hamilton's Graciela Roybal voted Week 3 top performer in high school girls basketball

Chandler Hamilton senior guard Graciela Roybal received the most votes in Arizona Republic's poll for the top performers in Week 3 of high school girls basketball, Feb. 1-6.

On Feb. 2, Roybal scored 21 points, including five 3s, added 2 assists, 1 steal and took a charge as Hamilton beat Chandler Basha, 64-22.

The Arizona Christian-committed Roybal is Hamilton's second-leading scorer at 10.4 points per game. She is also ranked No. 23 on The Republic's Elite 50 girls basketball player selections for the 2020-21 season

Top AIA girls hoops performers

Alyssa Brown, Tucson Sahuaro, F, Sr.

Brown averaged 36 points on 59.5% shooting, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 5.5 steals, 3.5 blocks and committed just two turnovers between Sahuaro's routs of Oro Valley Ironwood Ridge, 67-13, on Wednesday and Casa Grande the following day, 93-42. 

Jennah Isai, Surprise Valley Vista, G, Jr.

Isai had 20 points, 8 steals  and 2 blocks in Valley Vista's 75-41 blowout win over Phoenix Pinnacle in the HoopHall West on Thursday.

Daeja Johnson, Queen Creek Casteel, G., Sr.

She had 32 points, 11 rebounds and 7 steals in Casteel's 74-44 rout of Casa Grande on Tuesday.

Dominique Nesland, Phoenix Xavier Prep, G, Fr.

Nesland had 20 points and 12 steals in the Gators' 77-26 win over Tucson on Friday.

Autymn Franks, Casteel, G. Sr.

Franks had 20 points, 5 assists, 6 steals, 3 rebounds in Casteel's 60-14 win over Gilbert Higley on Thursday. 

Katy Frost, Phoenix Sandra Day O'Connor, C, Fr.

Frost had a double-double, posting a game-high 17 points on 78% shooting and 14 rebounds as SDOC beat the Anthem Boulder Creek, 42-30, on Tuesday.

Amanda Barcello, Seton Catholic, G, Sr.

She had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in Seton's 58-31 win over Gilbert Mesquite in the HoopHall West on Tuesday.

Alaya Fitzgerald, Mesquite, G, Sr.

Fitzgerald posted 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals in Mesquite's loss to Seton Catholic.

Emily Davis, Snowflake, F, Jr.

Davis averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds as undefeated Snowflake (7-0) beat Lakeside Blue Ridge and Payson, 61-21 and 67-32 on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.

Mya Johnson, Mesa Westwood, G, Sr.

She had 17 points including the game-winning layup as time expired in Westwood, 68-66 win over Glendale Apollo on Thursday.

Kaisha Henry, Buckeye Verrado, G., Jr.

Henry had a game-high 19 points, 17 rebounds and 5 steals in Verrado's 74-12 landslide victory over Lake Havasu.

Nicole Smith, Gilbert Perry, G, Sr.

She had 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists and a block in Perry's win over Hamilton, 56-46, on Friday.

Nicole Evenson, Gilbert, F., Jr.

She had 19 points on five 3s made in Gilbert's 56-46 win over Gilbert Williams Field on Tuesday.

Ashiian Hunter, Mesa, G, So.

She had 25 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 9 steals in Mesa's 65-12 win over Mesa Skyline on Tuesday.

Mackenzie Shivers, Mesa, G., Jr.

Shivers had 13 points and 14 steals in the Jackrabbits' win over Skyline.

Alyssa Franke, Tucson Sahuaro, G., Sr.

"Lucky" Franke nearly had a triple-double of 17 points on 56% shooting, 10 assists and 9 steals and just one turnover in Sahuaro's win over Casa Grande. 

Marisa Davis, Valley Vista, F, Sr. 

She had 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting, 8 rebounds and 2 steals in the Monsoon's win over Pinnacle.

Talia Estrada, Gilbert Leading Edge, G, Jr.

She had 21 points, including shooting 6-of-7 from 3, and added 6 assists and three steals in Leading Edge's 64-21 rout of Chandler Lincoln Prep on Tuesday. 

Myna Johnson, Yuma Cibola, G, Jr.

Johnson had 22 points, 8 assists, and 4 steals as Cibola hosed Yuma Kofa, 92-2, on Friday. 

Brionna Smith, Gilbert Leading Edge, F, Sr.

Smith tied Estrada for a game-high 21 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 steals in Leading Edge's win over Lincoln Prep.

Joslyn Baumgartner, Anthem Boulder Creek, F, So.

Baumgartner had 19 points connecting on seven of her 11 field goal attempts and added six steals in Boulder Creek's 65-24 win over Peoria. 

Morgan Smith, Gilbert Leading Edge, G, Sr.

She had 13 points, 8 assists and 6 steals in Leading Edge's win over Lincoln Prep.

Amyah Reaves, Hamilton, G, Sr.

Reaves produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 steals in Hamilton's 56-46 loss to Gilbert Perry.

Savanna Creal, Hamilton, G, Fr.

Creal had 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals in Hamilton's win over Basha.

Solaya Sanchez, Gilbert WIlliams Field, G, Jr.

She had a career-high 21 points, added 4 assists and committed just one turnover in leading the Black Hawks to a 50-37 win over Gilbert Campo Verde.

Ally Stedman, Phoenix PHH Prep, G, Sr.

Stedman had a game-high 20 points, made four 3s, 4 assists and 3 steals in the Fire's 76-36 win over Scottsdale Bella Vista Prep on Tuesday. She also had 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals as PHH Prep beat Chandler Arizona Compass Prep, 59-53.

LeeLee Willis, AZ Compass Prep, G., Sr.

She had 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals in AZ Compass Prep's 68-40 win over Bella Vista.

Kam'Ren Rhodes, AZ Compass Prep, G, Jr.

Rhodes had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist. 

Trayanna Crisp, PHH Prep, G, Jr.

Crisp had 15 points, went 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in PHH Prep's win over AZ Compass Prep.
