The affiliate agreement between Chicago Fire FC and Forward Madison FC has produced its first three loan deals.

The Fire announced today it’s sending three Homegrown teenagers to play with the USL League One side—forward Alex Monis, midfielder Allan Rodriguez, and goalkeeper Chris Brady.

Fire head coach Raphael Wicky did not include Monis, Rodriguez and Brady in the roster that traveled to Orlando for the MLS is Back Tournament. Instead, they were sent to train with Forward Madison.

“They’ve been with us since July 2nd,” Forward Madison coach Daryl Shore said in a Facebook Q&A with fans. “We’re excited about all three of them. And now, with the unfortunate exit of the Fire from the MLS is Back tournament, we’re not really sure if we can expect a few other players to come in.”

Shore was a longtime assistant coach with the Fire.

Forward Madison opens its shortened season Saturday with an away match against North Texas SC. All three players will be eligible for the match. Forward will play all eight home matches this season at Hart Park in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The matches were moved away from Forward’s usual home field, Breese Stevens Field in Madison, because Dane County, Wisconsin officials wouldn’t allow games to take place there because of the pandemic.
