Muscle cars invade Martin’s U.S. 131 Motorsport Park

MARTIN - It’s one hot weekend at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park, not to mention noisy, smokey and fast.

That’s what happens when the National Muscle Car Association and the National Mustang Racers Association get together. The two circuits have stormed into Martin for the All-American Nationals, bringing a swarm of hot rods, including Cobra Jet Mustangs, COPO Camaros, Chargers and Challengers.

Action began Friday and will conclude Sunday at the legendary Martin Dragway, with gates opening at 8 a.m. The event also offers a car show and manufacturers’ midway.

Spectators are permitted to attend Sunday’s action, but a limited amount of tickets will be sold due to social distancing guidelines.
