13 sentenced for OVI-related offenses in Licking County Municipal Court

NEWARK - The following people were sentenced for misdemeanor offenses in Licking County Municipal Court. The Advocate publishes sentences where court costs and fees exceed $500 and sentences with jail time of any kind.

Todd McCarty, 39, of Mount Perry, third offense OVI, $1,262 and 365 days in jail with 320 suspended, and 730 days of probation.

Hubert A. McBride, 25, of Lancaster, menacing, $645 and 30 days in jail with 30 suspended, and a year of probation.

Eric D. Gilgien, 29, of Hebron, disorderly conduct persisting, $478 and 30 days in jail with 27 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Kimberlea A. Huston, 57, of Somerset, third-offense OVI, $1,232.40 and 180 days in jail with 120 suspended and credit for three, and 730 days of probation.

Jacob Dittoe, 26, of Heath, criminal damaging/endangering and disorderly conduct persistent, $533.05 and 120 days in jail with 120 suspended and two years of probation.

Chad Harmon, 49, of Zanesville, gross overload/axle overload and reduced loans/thaw/moisture, $594.

Cody A. Satterfield, 30, of Heath, first offense OVI, failure to reinstate, display/expired license plates, improper/prohibited turn, $1,009 and 30 days in jail with 27 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Christopher Maines, 32, of Newark, theft, $334 and 60 days in jail with 58 suspended and credit for two, and a year of probation.

William N. Kidd, 41, of Hebron, assault, attempted theft, criminal damaging/endangering,  and disorderly conduct, $787 and 217 days in jail with 34 suspended and credit for 100.

Betty Flowers, 34, of Newark, disorderly conduct persisting, $482.25 and 30 days in jail with 29 suspended and credit for one, and a year of probation.

Damian S. Leister, 25, of Newark, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, $362 and two days in jail with credit for two.

Hilary Jones, 28, of Frazeysburg, prohibitions against companion animals and disorderly conduct persistent, $566.45 and 60 days in jail with credit for six.

Jared Coey, 26, of Hebron, violate protection order, $428.60 and 60 days in jail with 58 suspended and credit for two, and two years of probation.

Shaun W. Nelson, 34, of Newark, criminal damaging/endangering, $427 and 90 days in jail with 90 suspended and a year of probation.

Devin M. Clay, 28, of Columbus, violate protection order, theft, criminal damaging/endangering, and criminal mischief, $464.55 and 120 days in jail with 120 suspended.

Cameron C. Landis, 27, of Newark, first offense OVI, driving in marked lanes, and failure to maintain control, $814.35 and 30 days in jail with 27 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Joseph Fitch, 34, of Newark, contempt of court, $180.20 and three days in jail with credit for three.

Alex J. Baggett, 29, of Pataskala, disorderly conduct persisting, $654.50 and 30 days in jail with 28 suspended and credit for two, and a year of probation.

Paul E. Newland, 48, of Columbus, first offense OVI, license forfeiture/child support, failure to maintain control, $955 and 30 days in jail with 27 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Francisco Betancourt Cuevas, 29, of Pataskala, third-offense OVI and failure to maintain control, $1,262.80 and 180 days in jail with 120 suspended and credit for one, and 730 days of probation.

James Reese, 29, of Newark, possession of drug instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense OVI, assured clear distance ahead, $1,298.40 and 120 days in jail with 117 suspended and credit for three, and two years of probation.

Dozie N. Anosike, 45, of Reynoldsburg, second offense OVI, hit-skip highway, license forfeiture/child support, disregard of safety, seat belt violation, $1,122 and 90 days in jail with 70 suspended and credit for one, and a year of probation.

James P. Shipley, 56, of Newark, first offense OVI, driving under FRA suspension, driving within marked lanes, $921 and 60 days in jail with 57 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Eric E. Mason, 57, of Newark, second offense OVI, turn signal violation, driving in marked lanes, driving within marked lanes, seat belt violation, $1,028 and 90 days in jail with 60 suspended and a year of probation.

James P. Shipley, 56, of Newark, first offense OVI, driving under OVI suspension, driving under FRA suspension, driving within marked lanes, seat belt violation, $776.85 and 60 days in jail with 50 suspended and a year of probation.

Eric M. Casey, 39, of Newark, hit-skip and driving within marked lanes, $624 and 30 days in jail with 30 suspended and a year of probation.

Kristen E. Smith, 29, of Thornville, second offense OVI, driving within marked lanes, seat belt violation, $921 and 60 days in jail with 50 suspended and a year of probation.

Richard W. Werner, 52, of Newark, first offense OVI and speeding, $770 and 30 days in jail with 27 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Mark C. Glaze, 50, of Washington, DC, physical control/under influence, $654 and 30 days in jail with 27 suspended and credit for three, and a year of probation.

Anthony S. Henry, 40, of Mount Vernon, domestic violence, $488 and 60 days in jail with 46 suspended and a year of probation.

Jordan E. Spahr, 24, of Mount Vernon, driving under suspension, stop sign, $650 and 30 days in jail with 27 suspended.
