Raw Seafoods, Inc. has issued a recall for two salmon meals with the Wegmans brand.
The Ginger Salmon Oven Safe Meal and the Salmon Teriyaki Oven Safe Meal may contain undeclared wheat, which is an allergen. Undeclared means it is not listed on the ingredient label.
The product details are:
- Wegmans Ginger Salmon, Oven Safe - PLU code 6474, packaging code 7608, best by Jan. 23, 2021 and packaging code 7659, best by Feb. 13, 2021.
- Wegmans Salmon Teriyaki, Oven Safe - PLU code 6408, packaging code 7688, best by Feb. 24, 2021 and packaging code 7692, best by Feb. 25, 2021.
No allergic reactions have been reported but people with an allergy to wheat could have a reaction by consuming the salmon, according to an announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
According to the FDA, the salmon was distributed to Wegmans stores in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
