After a win over the Detroit Lions in Week 1 and surviving Week 2 against the New York Giants, the Chicago Bears won their Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons. They did so with starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky sitting on the bench.

The Bears opted to pull Trubisky from the game in the third quarter after the fourth-year quarterback was picked off by Falcons cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson. Trubisky ended the day with 13 of 22 passing for 128 yards and 1 touchdown.

Chicago sent in Nick Foles in who rallied the Bears to a 30-26 win over the Falcons. Foles completed 16 of 29 passes for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns. Foles was also intercepted.

Following the game, Bears head coach Matt Nagy did not offer a clue about which quarterback would start for the team in Week 4.

Until then, here’s what they’re saying about the Bears' decision to bench Trubisky.
