INKSTER, MI - Two suspects have been arrested and arraigned on felony charges in connection with the February shooting death of an Inkster man.

Troopers and Inkster police officers responded to a shooting around 1 a.m., Feb. 11 in the 400 block of Tobin Drive in Inkster, said the Michigan State Police Metro Detroit post.

After an investigation, police confirmed a 20-year-old Inkster man died on scene due to a fatal shooting. While next of kin were notified, state police have not released the name of the victim.

Detectives spent the ensuing couple of weeks searching for suspects and determining the cause of the shooting, police said.

Warrants were issued last week for the arrests of two suspects, according to Wayne County Circuit Court records.

On March 1, Archie McQueen, 17, was apprehended and arraigned in the 22nd District Court in Inkster on single counts of felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

On March 6, Raequan Williams, 21, was also apprehended and arraigned in the 22nd District Court for the same three charges. Both he and McQueen are lodged in the Wayne County Jail, police said.

Further court proceedings have yet to be scheduled, per circuit court records.
