Katy Perry is set to release a circus-themed video game the same day her latest album, Smile, comes out.
It's a busy ol' week for the princess of pop — not only is her sixth studio album dropping tomorrow, she's also just welcomed a baby girl with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
And if that wasn't enough, the Fireworks hitmaker also announced earlier this month that she's been working on a video game entitled Katy's Quest, also due to come out on Friday, August 28.
Fans will, of course, know that Perry, 35, has already shared a glimpse of what's in store, in her title track music video back in July.
In the Smile music video, Perry picks up a controller and starts playing a circus-themed game, selecting the Sad Clown character on screen. As she does so, her outfit transforms to mirror that of the two-dimensional figure.
Despite the name of the character, though, Perry's lyrics are all about shaking off the blues and learning to be happy and looking ahead. You can watch the full clip above.
While the gameplay in the music video is mostly created using CGI, it's not too dissimilar from the new game coming out tomorrow.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, Perry shared a short trailer, along with the caption: "Guess what klownts? #SMILE the album ain't gonna be the only thing dropping on Friday.
"KatysQuest will be available on 8/28 at Alienware.com/Smile. Help me find my smile (and share smiles with @musicares and @extralife4kids) while u listen to the new record."
The pop star tagged charities MusiCares and Extra Life, which work to give back to the music industry and unite gamers around the world to support their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, respectively.
