AC Milan are already thinking of the January transfer window and they have two French players in their sights, according to a report.

Milan were one of the most active teams on the market as they started making moves back in June, with Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali, Brahim Diaz, Fode Ballo-Toure, Olivier Giroud, Alessandro Florenzi, Pietro Pellegri and Tiemoue Bakayoko all joining, plus Chaka Traore, Yacine Adli (who will return to Bordeaux on loan for the season) and Junior Messias on deadline day.

The first player that Milan have targeted ahead of January is Warren Bondo of AS Nancy-Lorraine, and MilanNews reported that the player – through his parents – already has a three-year agreement with Milan, which can be extended to five when he reaches 18 years of age as per league regulations.

As per MilanNews journalist Antonio Vitiello, the French side wanted €5m to sell in the summer which Milan did not intend to pay, and though a late attempt was made on August 30 Paolo Maldini and Massara have decided to wait, with a good chance of the 17-year-old arriving in January. He would arrive with the possibility of being part of the first team squad, not just as a Primavera player.

The second name mentioned in the video is Romain Faivre, who the Rossoneri tried to sign towards the end of the summer window, even reaching an agreement with the 23-year-old over personal terms before Brest took exception to his attempt to force a move and decided to take him off the market.

In January Milan are expected to go back in for Faivre given his relationship with Brest could well be beyond repair, and they already have personal terms outlined.
